Your Instructor
Originally commenced career as a volunteer coordinator and has over 28 years’ experience (commenced very young) in the volunteer sector including sitting on the Board of Volunteering Victoria for 4 years, running workshops on managing and supporting volunteers and developing volunteer training. For the last 6 years Esis has worked at Multiple Sclerosis having oversight of the Mission Services provided free of charge to people living with multiple sclerosis and their families/carers. In addition to the Mission Services Esis has been the State Network Member for The Community Visitors Scheme across Victoria since 2014 and in 2019 added ACT and NSW to the areas covered. The role includes working in collaboration with the Department of Health regarding CVS, providing support, guidance and advice to auspices providing CVS and promoting the service to Aged Care Providers and the community. The importance of CVS to our aging population and the community is something Esis is very passionate about and working in partnership with providers to make the difference is incredibly rewarding.
